Week 1

Personal Statement

We are told to pick three of our favourite designs that we could find on the internet and explain why we like them. Here are the designs that I chose:


1st Design

I decided to choose this design because of the materials or medias that are used. I have been encouraged by my teacher from high school to use different medias in our artwork to bring out more creativeness and exploration in our art. Also, I like the colors that are used in the design its very subtle and not hurting the eyes.

As for the second design, I chose a poster design. I like it because with all the illustration and design its advertising the topic really well. The use of bright colors makes the topic looks fun and interesting.


3rd Design

Lastly, I decided to choose this design because it shows a lot from only a simple illustration of the earth. Its giving out the issue that the world have right now. It looks nice and its also a meaningful art piece.


Bezier Game

Other than choosing a design we are instructed to play the Bezier game, to practice a using pen tool in photoshop in the near future. These are some of the exercises that I have done in the Bezier game.

Illustration & Visual Narrative - Task 2

 27/08/2021 - 24/09/2021 (Week 1 - Week 5)  Ataka Lukman Hamzah / 0350012 / BDCM Illustration and Visual Narrative Task 2   INSTRUCTIONS For task 2 the name of the exercise is called Decisive Moment. We are told to create a minimalist poster defining the decisive moment of the scene from an existing narrative. Also we are expected to create a looping animated gif of the design. The first movie came into my mind is The Conjuring Universe movies. It is a movie that I have been repeat watching a lot in my free time. There are some scenes that came into my mind, the first scene was from the first conjuring, the hide and clap scene. This scene shows the one of the first encounter between the characters and the ghost.
